If you want to be treated like a queen, book here!

I cant rate this place highly enough, take the beach club booking in the adults only area and if you need to be treated like a queen for a bit then this is what you will get, they could not do enough for you. I have never heard of this chain before but will be booking again.

The flies, you couldn't do much about that, however the food did need to be covered better, especially at breakfast, also the price in the shop for anything is very steep.

Lovely end to our holiday, great staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Breakfast was great, so many choices. Comfy big bed. Awesome service from check in to getting taken to our rooms. Nothing is a problem. Nice kids club, my 3 and 5 year olds enjoyed a couple of hours in there. The pool was good as it had multiple areas to it with varying depths for the little ones, lots of loungers available (prob due to going in Feb) I imagine peak season might be a bit different.

The water at the beach was dirty looking, not inviting after having come from an island. Dinner options foe a casual dinner limited, buffet closed for dinner two nights a week (happened to be the night I stayed) the restaurant we dined at was lovely but mostly had seafood so not many choices when you don’t really eat seafood. Small thing to note we had some ants in our room, maybe the rooms need to get fumigated or something to stop them. We stayed in the luxury family room that has bunk beds but borderline not suitable for young families we had 3yr old and 5yr old the ladder to the top is tricky for the kids (especially at night).

Rooms were good size with comfy beds. Looking old and tatty and the bathroom needs totally modernising and redesigning. Should have a seperate shower - not over the bath which was super deep. No bath mat either which made it a safety issue. Breakfast was good and the grounds were immaculately kept. Has a great pool (when it's full - unfortunately some repairs were needed so the pool was half full, knee deep for 2 days).

The hidden costs. However I blame Booking.com as I believe you falsely advertise your prices. The price we were given for 3 rooms was not what we had to pay. We were hit with tax, and fees, they took immediate charge for 2 rooms then tried to charge another $1500 onto the third room on check in. I quoted your price and the lowered the amount but it was still $600 more. Had we been aware that we were going to have to pay more than what you advertised we would have booked through someone else for a better price. Staff are hit and miss - each visit its getting harder to find staff that genuinely enjoy their jobs in Fiji. We arrived an hour before check in, our rooms weren't ready and though we were told to come back at 2pm, it was a further 2 hours we waited. Rooms were ready at 4pm. Reception didn't care less and were pretty unhelpful.

The fridge tray was broken and so to was the retaining bar in the door. We repaired the door with adhesive tape. We had to wedge the fridge at the side so the door would close properly. The shower door remained ajar during showering and the floor was always wet. We tried wedging the door closed with a towel but with limited success. The shower was a very poor design. Loud music could be heard on and off all day from the Waitui club. The music sometimes was very loud and often started before 7am. It started at 6.35am one morning. The hand basin was cracked and the table top damaged. There were large pot holes in the car park. We liked the generous size room, large room safe, good air conditioning, ample milk, tea, coffee and bathroom accessories. The deep swimming pool was very good.

Keep the volume of the Waitui Club music at a reasonable level and start it after 8 or 9am. Take steps to improve the leaking shower which is a nuisance in a small bathroom.

The Adults only area/club well worth the additional! The food was far better and the service was very good! The pool area was also quite good as were the numerous hammocks along the beach front.

The rooms are dated and in need of a refurb, especially the bathrooms which were poor! Food and beverage a little overpriced and service wasnt as friendly as expected!

Found a cockroach in our room, food prices were pretty steep compared to other places in Fiji for same or similar. Very popular with families so if you wanting quiet you’ll have to pay $$ extra for adults only area

Very comfortable beds, beautiful property and great facilities. Fantastic babysitters! Excellent for families. Air Fiji resort checkin counter in the lobby is a helpful and genius idea that cuts 1.5hours off the airport process. 5 star service with a smile from the porters to the reception staff.

Sensational service and gorgeous resort

The Sofitel Resort & Spa is truly like paradise. The rooms are gorgeous, the resort is lush with plants, flowers and trees and the staff are warm and friendly. We booked a room with access to Waitui Beach Club which is absolutely dreamy! This is the adults only section of the Sofitel Resort & Spa and definitely the way to go for a relaxing holiday. The wonderful Vau welcomed us to the club everyday with such warmth and friendliness she made us feel like extended family. All the staff are truly wonderful, attentive and friendly and just made the whole experience joyful - Annie, Mary, Lusi, Kata, Wilma, Luke, Oswald, Pete - these are just a few! We booked the plus package that included a private cabana, complimentary daily laundry, one hour spa service, access to The Lounge and breakfast. The pool is gorgeous and includes a 25m infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well as a lagoon style section. The breakfast at the Waitui Bar & Grill is great and makes a nice change from rhe buffet. All day offerings pool side means lounging all day is an option. Our king plus room was gorgeous, the tiled floors were kept the room nice and cool and the room was exceptionally clean. There are several options for restaurants around the resort, Solis and Bazaar are good dinner option and Bazaar also has a buffet breakfast. The Fijian night at the Bazaar was fun and included a traditional performance. There are a few stores at the resort including a Jack’s of Fiji and Island Trader both great for souvenirs. Island Trader is also good for picking up any essentials and sundry items, also has selection of swimwear and clothing needed for island resort stay. Exceptional all round and definitely worth the additional amount, already looking at dates for the next stay Update: we just returned from a second stay, one year on and we had the most fab time. So relaxing and joyful at the Waitii Beach Club.

It was great to stay for business trip in nadi staffs are nice and room was cozy also enough space to stay for one or couple. and swimmimg pool was great to play with family. beach was nice to walk. good to stay

The bed were awesome to sleep on,the room was nicely presented and was always clean.Staff were very friendly.The facilities outside your room,the pool area and all the ground were very clean,tidy and nicely presented. The cafe was an great place to eat at the food there was very nice.The retail shops had some really great gifts and souvenirs that you bye.

The changing of towels in your room we had to ring up because there was not enough towels for showers and no toilet paper. When you ordered food it took a very long time to come and on some occasions the food was cold by the time you got it. The Internet was not very good as on most occasions it wouldn’t work.

Food and drink at all the resorts is very expensive, large walk in cupboard in room however bathroom was small. Would of preferred the wardrobe space to have housed the toilet away from bath and shower and less or alternate storage area.
