Breakfast was great, so many choices. Comfy big bed. Awesome service from check in to getting taken to our rooms. Nothing is a problem. Nice kids club, my 3 and 5 year olds enjoyed a couple of hours in there. The pool was good as it had multiple areas to it with varying depths for the little ones, lots of loungers available (prob due to going in Feb) I imagine peak season might be a bit different.

The water at the beach was dirty looking, not inviting after having come from an island. Dinner options foe a casual dinner limited, buffet closed for dinner two nights a week (happened to be the night I stayed) the restaurant we dined at was lovely but mostly had seafood so not many choices when you don’t really eat seafood. Small thing to note we had some ants in our room, maybe the rooms need to get fumigated or something to stop them. We stayed in the luxury family room that has bunk beds but borderline not suitable for young families we had 3yr old and 5yr old the ladder to the top is tricky for the kids (especially at night).

The waitui beach club area was simply wonderful!

The Sofitel Resort & Spa is truly like paradise. The rooms are gorgeous, the resort is lush with plants, flowers and trees and the staff are warm and friendly. We booked a room with access to Waitui Beach Club which is absolutely dreamy! This is the adults only section of the Sofitel Resort & Spa and definitely the way to go for a relaxing holiday. The wonderful Vau welcomed us to the club everyday with such warmth and friendliness she made us feel like extended family. All the staff are truly wonderful, attentive and friendly and just made the whole experience joyful - Annie, Mary, Lusi, Kata, Wilma, Luke, Oswald, Pete - these are just a few! We booked the plus package that included a private cabana, complimentary daily laundry, one hour spa service, access to The Lounge and breakfast. The pool is gorgeous and includes a 25m infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well as a lagoon style section. The breakfast at the Waitui Bar & Grill is great and makes a nice change from rhe buffet. All day offerings pool side means lounging all day is an option. Our king plus room was gorgeous, the tiled floors were kept the room nice and cool and the room was exceptionally clean. There are several options for restaurants around the resort, Solis and Bazaar are good dinner option and Bazaar also has a buffet breakfast. The Fijian night at the Bazaar was fun and included a traditional performance. There are a few stores at the resort including a Jack’s of Fiji and Island Trader both great for souvenirs. Island Trader is also good for picking up any essentials and sundry items, also has selection of swimwear and clothing needed for island resort stay. Exceptional all round and definitely worth the additional amount, already looking at dates for the next stay Update: we just returned from a second stay, one year on and we had the most fab time. So relaxing and joyful at the Waitii Beach Club.

I cant rate this place highly enough, take the beach club booking in the adults only area and if you need to be treated like a queen for a bit then this is what you will get, they could not do enough for you. I have never heard of this chain before but will be booking again.

The flies, you couldn't do much about that, however the food did need to be covered better, especially at breakfast, also the price in the shop for anything is very steep.

Dans la chambre , le lavabo n'est pas inclus dans la salle de douche . Il est visible dès l'entrée dans la chambre , ce n'est pas agréable. Sur un même plan , on pose sa trousse de toilette et sa tasse de thé. Sur la plage , pas la même qualité de transat, Il n'y a pas de coussin , un peu dommage . J'en ai demandé mais sans succès.

- Ce qu'on attend d'un grand resort (les incontournables) : piscine formidable, petite plage protégée adaptée pour des enfants, orientation plein nord et donc soleil toute la journée, buffet petit-déjeuner incroyable (bien que pris individuellement il peut y avoir à redire sur la qualité de certains mets) - Salle de bains

- Quand nous avons pris possession de la chambre, celle-ci était envahie par une forte odeur de produits chimiques ou d'entretien. Quand on n'a qu'une nuit dans un logement, commencer par passer plusieurs heures à aérer nuit à la qualité de l'expérience - Literie de qualité mais un peu vieillissante (on voir que le matelas est aplati à certains endroits) - Repas du soir : nous avions le choix entre un buffet à volonté saveurs d'Asie à 99$ par personne (alors que nous n'avions jamais mangé pour plus de 35 par personne de toutes nos vacances et sans se limiter, et que nous avions mangé copieusement le midi), et le restaurant/bar vers la plage qui était réservé jusque tard. On ne nous a donc proposé que de manger quelques tapas près du bar, que nous avons attendues plus d'une heure (et 30' environ pour un verre de vin). Donc franchement déçus, pas du niveau d'un 5*

La piscine est sans conteste la plus belle de tous les hôtels de Denarau. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est gargantuesque et répond à toutes les envies. Le personnel est parfait de tous points de vue. Les chambres ont été refaites assez récemment et sont jolies. Le golf offre des balades sympathiques et points de vue magnifiques. Si vous pouvez vous l'offrir, le club Waitui, réservé aux adultes, est très bien. Excellent service, petit déjeuner, piscine, etc. Là encore le meilleur service de Denarau. Attention à bien demander le prix de ce service avant d'y souscrire.

Les renseignements sur les activités et excursions, pas très développés. Je voulais faire une randonnée et l'hôtel n'avait pas de vraie offre à me proposer, ni n'a pu me diriger vers un professionnel. J'ai trouvé sur internet mais aurais apprécié un vrai conseil. Sinon le personnel a toujours été professionnel, calme et chaleureux.
